The girl who hopes her music will be as memorable as her last name, Sophie Rainbow is a spirited performer and storyteller based in Brisbane, QLD. 

 

The singer/songwriter has had a consistent presence in the local songwriter scene since her early teens, performing in local and regional venues around the country's capital, Canberra. A graduate of the 2016 Country Music Association of Australia Academy, Sophie describes her music as alt-folk-storytelling, taking inspiration from Carole King, John Denver, and Norah Jones. Her nomadic spirit transforms into a blend of Americana and soul, telling stories of her adventures abroad and life on the road. Her honesty and sincerity captures audiences from all demographics, carrying a powerful message in her music to care for others and the world we live in. 

 

Sophie released her debut EP 'Millennial' in October 2018 featuring 6 self-written songs with production by Michael Moko. The title track went on to regular rotation on KIX country radio, peaking at number 6 on the nation's top country radio charts.
